Harmful Algal Bloom Workshop
April 29th
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH), Bureau of Climate and Environmental Health (BCEH) will be hosting a free, virtual half-day Harmful Algal Bloom (HAB) workshop on Wednesday, April 29th from 9 am – 1:15 pm.

This workshop provides stakeholders the opportunity to discuss preparations for the 2026 recreational water season and learn more about the latest developments in HAB research. The agenda includes presentations from leading scientists, government agencies, and community organizations on the best practices for monitoring and responding to harmful algal blooms.
